Share Yoga with Children
Yoga is for anybody.
Any age.
My children love to play "yoga teacher" and lead each other in practice.
They know poses.
They make up poses. (Sideways dog!)
They entertwine fitness and wholeness and imaginative play.
It is a beautiful thing to behold.

Inverted Lotus - Padmasana
Some days, I am strong in my practice.
I feel new, somehow.
I do new things.
Some days, I am not feeling as strong.

They don't feel the same.
My challenge is to really connect with who I am in my present practice.
Knowing that I struggle to do the same things I did 16 years ago.
Knowing I have struggled through and can do things I didn't think I would.

Outdoor Yoga - Om In the Outside
Om. On the inside.
It's hot.
There are noises.
But as your practice progresses, the noise becomes a hum.
A mantra.
At one with your breath.
And your life.
Outside, you connect to life.
The life of your fellow practitioners.
The life of the Earth.
Crickets.
Birds.
And by the end you are connected to a greater spirit.
In a new way.
